"Musing Mondays" "Monday's Music Moves Me" Memes

Musing Mondays (Mar.14)

This week’s musing asks…Do you have a favorite children’s book? Either one that you loved as a child, or one that you discovered later, and still enjoy? Tell us about it!
My favorite children's book that I loved when I was a child was "Cinderella." I still watch any movie that is based on the Cinderella story.  What can I say? I'm just a kid at heart. How about you, what was your favorite book when you were a child?

This week we don't have a theme, we choose whatever we want to. I chose to choose this very old Cinderella video of Julie Andrews as Cinderella, and Edie Adams as the Fairy Godmother. What is interesting about this TV performance is it was live TV at it's best. When the show started it was like a stage play, any mistakes could not be edited out, and done over. This performance was in 1955, I think, and it was broadcast as the play was being performed.

I was introduced yesterday to Xmas Dolly when she was spotlighted on CMash Loves To Read.
This is a feature sponsored by her and  Lorie from The Shewbridges of Celebration and
Callie at Jamerican Spice.
The theme this week and all month long is love songs.

When I was a young I loved this song, Twilight Time,
by The Platters. it is my all time favorite. My husband
and I danced to this song many times throughout
our life time. Whether we were at a dance,
or in the kitchen. Oh, the memories....
