"Musing Mondays"

MizB asks... Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it.
I am reading "The Chronicles of Downton Abbey." I am enjoying it. I chose it because I am watching the show on TV each Sunday evening. 

 The book takes us deeper into the story of every important member of the Downton Estate. This new book focuses on each character individually, examining their motivations, their actions, and the inspirations behind them. It is a combination of story, history, and behind-the-scenes drama. 

 That is what I am reading today, what are you reading?

    I should read this one...I wanted to watch the show and had set the DVR...but then, since it's already in Season III, I was lost. I need to learn about the characters first.

    Since I am a news junkie, I don't watch many shows so am not familiar with this show or book. I am reading KNOWING by Laurel Dewey, so far so good! Have a wonderful week.

    I still haven't watched the show, even though all of my friends are hooked. I think it's great that you are reading a book that is more specific about all the characters.

    Didn't realise there was a book. I enjoyed the first series best, feel it's going downhill a bit. They're writing out characters because the actors are moving on to other things. Always spoils it.
    Still the frocks are always great & so is Maggie Smith. Hope they don't pop her clogs!
