This week MizB's musing asks…
What is your favorite romantic book –or book that includes a love story? (an adult romance, young adult, kids’ story, anything)
This one is a toughy. My favorite romantic movie is "You've Got Mail" with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. I guess my favorite romantic book would be a toss-up between Jane Austen's "Emma" and Margaret Mitchell's "Gone With The Wind." I loved both books. OH! I forgot Cinderella, I have loved that book all my life.
What was your favorite romantic book?
Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are so cute together.
ReplyDeleteNvere having actually READ GWTW, I could not pick that, but "Emma" is in the era of my choice.
Great answers!! My choices are a bit different.
ReplyDeleteAll three are very good choices. That is why they are classics.
ReplyDeleteGreat musing today! I enjoyed reading your response. I'm not sure what my own would be!
ReplyDeleteGreat picks! I love Gone with the Wind too!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many great love stories, it's so hard to choose. Almost every book I read has a love story in it. But your choices of Cinderella and the movie are spot on!
ReplyDeleteGreat romantic choices. I'd add Outlander and Whitney, My Love
ReplyDeleteI loved the movie GWTW but I haven't read the book yet. "You've Got Mail" was a great movie, too. I haven't read Emma but I have it on my Nook.
ReplyDeleteNotebook hands down, love both book and movie.
ReplyDeleteGreat choices! As a huge fan of all things romance, I have to say those are the best - thank you for sharing! :)

You've Got Mail!! <3 One of my absolute ALL TIME favourite movies. I adore it. Everything about it. Still watch it quite regularly. I adore the little bookshop in it, I've wanted one of my own just like it ever since I saw the film. It always makes me sad that she ends up closing it down, though :(
ReplyDeleteWe have some of the same favorites :) I also love Pride and Prejudice.
