My Viewpoint:  The Tapestry of Love, is a novel about family, friendship, and new beginnings. The main character, Catherine Parkstone, is a divorcee with two grown children. She sells her home in England and moves to a small hamlet in the Cevennes Mountains in France. 


Catherine establishes her own business as a "needlewoman" in Tapestries, curtains, pillows, and home furnishings.


Along the way she makes friends with an assortment of neighbors. She and the mysterious Patrick Castagnol's friendship develops throughout the story as they share wine, food, conversation, and a bit of romance.


This was a warm comfortable book, kind of like visiting with a close friend for a few days, and catching up with what has happened in her life for the last few years. Even though I thought it started off a bit slow, it wasn't long until I was drawn right into the story. I read it in two days, enjoyed it and gave it 4**** because I liked it.


This book was given to me by the author, Rosy Thornton to read, and review. Thank you Rosy for the book, it was like taking a lovely two day vacation in the Cevennes Mountains of France.
