"Booking Through Thursday"

How do you organize/store your books? Do you go through them often? Or
do you pretty much just shelve them and then leave them alone until you need them?

 I am an organizer and then I pretty much just shelve them and leave them alone until I read them, here in my little 'Reading Corner.' 
My Kindle and Nook pretty much organize themselves, and I read them according to my mood, which is pretty much how I choose all my next books to read, by the mood I'm in.

This bookcase shelves the books I've already read. Friends and family take whatever books they want after I read them and what is left I generally donate to the local library.

    I love it that you have a 'read' shelf from which family and friends can take books! I am so doing that once I have my own home. My room is basically one big reading corner and I'm definitely a shelver, although my definition of shelves includes desks, beds, chairs and the occasional random table. Thanks for sharing!

    I am both an organizer and shelver with 3 bookcases for different books. I also catalog my books onto a spreadsheet so that I know where and who they came from plus to keep track of what's in my EReaders. Hope you have a great upcoming weekend.

    Such nice bookshelves.
    I keep my main bookcase organized by author with books I've already read. Then I have two smaller bookcases with books yet to be read.

    Hi Ann,

    I definitely follow you, organise and then shelve, that way I can sit and look at my books whilst I am blogging.

    I don't often get the chance to read by mood any more, as I seem to have a constant list of author review requests. I keep toying with the idea of not accepting any more, so that I can go back to reading for my own enjoyment, but the another author comes along, with another great book that I can't resist!

    I never read a book more than once, so when I am done with a book, I will either pass it onto family or friends, or like yourself, donate to a charity shop or the local hospital.

    Great post and I love your shelves.
