"Musing Mondays"


This week’s musing at Should Be Reading asks…
Other than working at a job, what is your biggest interruption to reading? What takes you away from your book(s)?
I think just the normal things in life takes me away from reading... Some of them are husband, laundry, cooking, eating, bathroom runs, visits from friends, shopping, and last but not lease a little thing called blogging interferes a lot in my reading time. That about covers the interruptions for me. Of course there is other reading I do besides reading books, however, it is still reading,  just not the book of the week I may be reading.
What takes you away from reading?

    Excellent answer to this musing, Gigi Ann. It's not always easy to set aside the time to read! Too much to do, and too many distractions....

    Everyday life does get in the way. I know I can't just sit and read for hours at a time, although I'd like to. There is always something I need to be doing.

    Facebook, my blog, email all take time away from reading. Not to mention household chores, yoga, and soon to be adding, tai chi! Takes away from any writing, too.
