Did you do any reading in lieu of watching the football game, yesterday, or were you foregoing reading to watch the game? If you read a book (or books) what did you choose?
I don't understand football, so I never watch any football games, and this also includes Super Bowl Sunday each year. I'm not interested in watching commercials, don't like them either. I missed half-time, when I thought about it, it was already over and time for the second half of the football game.
So, I read in lieu of watching the football game. I was reading "Titanic 2012" by Bill Walker, I think most people are going to like this book, but for some reason it just isn't drawing me into the story.
What did you do, during the football game yesterday?
I was reading The Lighthouse by P.D. James. TBG watched the game because it was the Pats. I kept getting regular updates as to the score.
ReplyDeleteI watched the first half...felt I had to since it was the "home" team. Plus hubby made his traditional chili.
ReplyDeleteThe half-time show wasn't all that great, I thought, even if it was Madonna w/ other singers the kids recognized. I posted my favorite commercial *ahem* if you want to see it. I personally think Football is Fun if there's a bigger Reason to Watch than Football itself - like family squished together on the couch keeping each other awake. :-) Otherwise, why bother? ReplyDeleteYeah, I didn't watch it either :)

I hang out with the family as they watch. I read during the football and watch the commercials.
