"Teaser Tuesdays"



Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.Anyone can play along! Just do the following:



Grab your current read 
Open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

This week I am reading "The Garner Files" a memoir, by James Garner and Jon Winokur. 


People have no idea how physically punishing it is to do an action series. You're producing twenty-two one-hour movies every year. You're on the set fifteen hours a day with no time to do anything else, but get a few hours sleep before you have to start all over again. Wore me down to a nub!  (page 132 HC)

    Small world...Garner's name came up in conversation between me and a coworker this morning.

    Good statement. We see an hour show but really don't think about what work really goes into producing it, same in writing a book. Interesting.

    Oh, I'd like to read this one! Loved James Garner in everything he did. I'm recalling a series I really enjoyed, back in the seventies or eighties. Can't think of the name of it, but yes, he was very active!
