From Isabel Wolff, the internationally bestselling author of A Vintage Affair, comes a beguiling novel about artistic inspirations, family secrets, and the courage to turn one’s life into a masterpiece.
Since I enjoyed Isabel Wolff's book, "A Vintage Affair" I noticed her new book "The Very Picture Of You" at B&Ns one day this week, while meandering through the store. The cover caught my eye, and how thrilled I was when I noticed it was Isabel's new book. How could I resist not bringing it home with me?
Hi Ann,
ReplyDeleteI have never read any of Isabel's work and I think I must have been missing out on something quite special.
This book sounds like a fantastic read, a bit like being a nosey neighbour and an agony aunt, all rolled into one.
I love your cover selection, very mysterious and unrevealing. There is another cover selection for this title, but it is much more harsh and very ordinary looking compared with yours. See what you think:

Have a great weekend.

I love this cover. I haven't read this author yet, but it sounds like something I'd enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHi, Gigi Ann. I tried to leave a comment on your Shadows of the Mind, but there is nowhere to type the word verification. I loved your stormy photo. I'm a Midwestern gal, myself.
