This week’s musing hosted by MizB asks…
For me I love a good plot-driven story, the characters are secondary to a good plot-driven story. If the story is interesting the characters will fall right in line with the story plot. Really when you think about a good book you have read, (Example: Gone With The Wind) the plot and the characters have to go hand-in-hand to make for a good story. So I guess I don't know which I prefer, because a good story needs both.Do you prefer character-driven stories, or plot-driven stories?
I agree that they are equal. Have a great reading week.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree! I thought I was being greedy saying both but I'm glad I found someone who prefers both the characters and the plot to go hand in hand!

It's simple, both. Why chose?

They are both important. Well expressed!
ReplyDeleteI agree, both are important!
ReplyDeleteahhhh...Gone with the Wind...I love it both for the story as well as the characters.
I would have to say plot driven because if I'm interested in the story, I can overlook poorly developed characters but if I like the characters but the story line doesn't interest me, forget it.
