Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I am reading Laura Childs book, Eggs Benedict Arnold, A Cackleberry Club Mystery. I have never read any of Ms. Childs books.
She was relieved there weren't any more pole dancers performing for the time being. Just a song playing on the jukebox with one of the longest titles in history: "How Could You Have Believed Me When I Told You that I Loved You, When You Know I've Been a Liar All My Life?" LP pg.221.
Hahaha that's a funny teaser! Gotta love those dancing poles. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteCome read my teaser from Noah by Jacquelyn Frank
I love Laura Child's books - especially her Tea Shop Myteries and her Scrapbooking mysteries. This series didn't quite catch my interest.

ReplyDeleteI say we just remove warning labels off everything, like someone suggested. This is a good idea.
I'm not happy about my life, what can I do to be happy?
Look at me I'm posting comments. Feels good, I hope my ramblings don't get removed by the admins :)
