What’s your favorite “cozy” book — and, by that, I’m meaning “curl-up-on-a-cold-day comfort read“? Or, if you don’t have a particular book, what genre do you most feel like reading when the weather starts to turn colder?
For me my favorite "cozy" books to read are Debbie Macomber books. Yesterday I started reading a book in the series of the Blossom Street Knitting club, "The Shop on Blossom Street" I have three in that series I haven't read yet. Therefore, in October I plan on reading them. They are also included in my "Fall into Reading 2010" challenge.
What are your favorite 'cozy' cold day comfort reading books?
What a perfect choice! I love Debbie Macomber books, especially her Cedar Cove series.
ReplyDeleteI have never read anything from this author. I have several "cozy" books. Check out what I am Musing for Monday.
ReplyDeleteOh, I forgot to mention this author when I was writing my musing, but I LOVE the Blossom Street books. I need to catch up, though, as it's been awhile.
ReplyDeleteHere's my musing:

I've never read her books, but they looks like they might be somewhat similar to what I chose.
ReplyDeleteMy "cozy" book would be whatever I am currently reading, which tends to be fiction of some sort. I hope to read this evening, if it stays cool and misty it will be perfect!
ReplyDeleteHi Ann! What a great post and wonderful question! I've never thought about a book quite this way....but my "cozy" books would definitely be any of the fabulous ones written by Maeve Binchy or Rosamunde Pilcher! Thanks for asking!
ReplyDeleteI have not read any of her books either...
ReplyDeleterather than one author, I pick a genre, with all the variety it holds...
I haven't read any of Macomber's yet. For me a good comfort read is a traditional mystery.
ReplyDeleteThanks for introduction me to this Author :)
