Day And Night September 16, 2010
“I couldn’t sleep a wink, so I just read and read, day and night … it was there I began to divide books into day books and night books,” she went on. “Really, there are books meant for daytime reading and books that can be read only at night.”
- ‘The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Milan Kundera, p. 103.
Do you divide your books into day and night reads? How do you decide?
No, I just continue reading the same book I'm reading in the day time right into the night time. I am a read one book at a time kind of girl. When I finish one book, I start reading the next one on my book pile, or list, whichever you choose to call it.
If I am listening to an audio book, I may listen to it an hour or two in the evening, but, is listening to a book, the same as reading a book? Sometimes, my eyes just get tired so I change to an audio book. Or just watch a little TV. Now I'm rambling.....
How about you, do you read different books in the day, than at night?
No way! I read whatever I am reading anytime!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Day and Night reply!
Nope I read any book any time :) (expect my bath book :P)
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. I read whatever book I'm reading whenever I get a chance to read.
ReplyDeleteScary books are best read during daytime.
ReplyDeleteMy BTT.
I wish I could stick with one book at a time, but I don't have that much self-discipline! But I don't divide books up by day or night - I can read anything at any time!
