"Just Wondering...."

I was just wondering:   Are you a Flapper? Or Not A Flapper?

Do you read the inside flaps that describe a book before or while reading it?

I usually briefly look over a paragraph or two on the flap.  But, most of the time I like to read the book first. Why? Because sometimes the flap reveals information about the plot or developments that I would rather  discover by reading the book.

However, if I'm not familiar with the author, I may read the flap to see if it is a story that would interest me. I always like to read the little write-up about the author usually on the back flap.

So usually I read the flap in it's completeness after I read the book.
