She wrote the most wonderful books about horses. My favourite was the White Stallions of Lipizza.<br /><br />One of the first books I was ever given was Black Beauty by Anna Sewell. A gift from my grandparents. Oh, how I love that book. I still have it, in fact, despite its loss of front cover and yellowed pages.
