"Musing Mondays"

MusingMondays5Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…
• Describe one of your reading habits.
• Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).
• What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it!
• Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it.
• Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us!
• Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then.
I've tried one or two times before to put this blog to sleep. However, it just keeps calling out to me, "I don't want to go to sleep!" So here I go again welcoming it back from a long month of sleep. I've decided to do my "Book Tours" and "Author Requests" to read their books and review on this blog. I will also be doing my "Musing Mondays" meme here as well as the meme "Booking Through Thursday." I started this blog around 2008 I think, so I guess it and I have become old friends.
Do any of you have a blog that just keeps calling out to you, "Please don't put me to sleep"?

  1. Yes, I too, have a blog that calls me so strongly and I had to keep myself from shaking it awake. I run three blogs, this book blog 'ofcoffeeandbooks' and I have two more from the Tumblr site: another book blog and a personal/multifandom blog. The multifandom blog's the one I'm trying to put a rest for a while but lately it's been calling me and I HAD TO NOT GET TEMPTED. I decided to come back blogging there this March because school's more of a priority right now.

Thanks for sharing! Here's mine :) My MM

  2. Oh, yes! Even though I love my Word Press sites...working on them is easier for me. But my first two blogs on Blogger do seem to call to me.

Story Corner (formerly known as Creations by Laurel-Rain Snow) and Rainy Days and Mondays do feel neglected, and I can hear their voices...LOL.

I know I have too many blogs, but the variety keeps me interested. And today's post comes from one of my WP sites that I sometimes forget:

  3. I do have three blogs but they are so different that there is no problems with putting any to sleep. My travel blog is only active when I travel and the other had family pictures that I did not want to get lost.

  4. It's hard to put blogs to sleep isn't it? My crochet blog actually gets more hits and has more followers than my book blog. Which is ironic because I neglect the crochet blog. The free patterns are what draws in visitors, so I just leave it as is and post from time to time. I plan on getting my act together and selling some patterns again, so maybe one day I'll give it a makeover.
    Happy Monday!
