Sixteen years ago, Tyne Whitlock cut all ties to her past and left town under the shameful shadow of a teenage pregnancy. Now her fifteen-year-old son, Zack, is in trouble with the law and she is desperate for help. But reaching out to high-powered attorney Lucas Silver Hawk, Zack's father, will tear open the heart-wrenching past in ways Tyne never imagined.

Forced to return to the Delaware Indian community where Lucas was raised, Tyne and Lucas are tempted by the heated passion that consumed them as teens. Tyne rediscovers all the reasons she found this man irresistible, but there are scandalous secrets waiting to be revealed, disgraceful choices made in the past that cannot be denied. Love is a powerful force that could
heal them both—if the truth doesn't rip them apart.

My Thoughts...

This is not the first book I've read by this author, Donna Fasano, nor will it be the last. I've always enjoyed reading her books. Some are for me "Mind Candy" which I always enjoy when I'm craving something sweet.  However, this story is not a "Mind Candy" story. It is an uplifting story of family, love, and forgiveness. It was an enjoyable, but also an emotional journey of the heart with lovable characters, some more lovable than others.

I found this book more than a romance novel, oh yes, it had romance, but it had so much more...It was a story of families making difficult decisions in their lives. How those decisions affected other family members for years to come. In the end it was also a feel-good story, at least it left me feeling good. I liked the story so much that I awarded it 4****. This book is part of my Kindle library.

My thanks to the author, Donna Fasano, she provided her book for me to read and give an honest review. Thank you Donna for two pleasant days of reading. The only struggle I had reading your novel, was the struggle to put it down once I started reading it.

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading and reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers and authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review.
