"Breakfast At Tiffany's"

It's New York in the 1940s, where the martinis flow from cocktail hour till breakfast at Tiffany's. And nice girls don't, except, of course, Holly Golightly. Pursued by Mafia gangsters and playboy millionaires, Holly is a fragile eyeful of tawny hair and turned-up nose, a heart-breaker, a perplexer, a traveller, a tease. She is irrepressibly 'top banana in the shock department', and one of the shining flowers of American fiction.

My Thoughts....

I thought I would start my Fall reading off by reading a vintage book. This novella, written by Truman Capote, in the 1950s, can be read in an afternoon, and depending on how fast you read, it can be read in an evening as well. I had never read this book before, and rather enjoyed it. A fun  and delightful book to get my Fall reading started.  I have seen the movie, and as I remember, it is different somewhat from the book, especially the ending. So to refresh my memory I am looking forward to watching the movie this evening. I enjoyed the book so much I awarded it 4 stars. This book is part of my Nook library.

Update...

I loved both the book and the movie, however, I liked the movies ending best.
