"Musing Mondays"

MusingMondays4This week’s musing, courtesy of Booking Through Thursday, asks…
How do you organize/store your books? Do you go through them often? Or do you pretty much just shelve them and then leave them alone until you need them?

I am an organizer and then I pretty much just shelve them and leave them alone until I read them, here in my little 'Reading Corner.'
My Kindle and Nook pretty much organize themselves, and I read them according to my mood, which is pretty much how I choose all my next books to read, by the mood I'm in.

This bookcase shelves the books I've already read. Friends and family take whatever books they want after I read them and what is left I generally donate to the local library.

Are you an organizer or a shelver?

  1. I do have an organizing system with 3 bookcases with different purposes. Have a great week.

  2. I like to keep my TBR piles seperate from my regular bookcase, where I keep my books in order by genre and author :)

  3. Your reading corner is so tidy and organized! I think that's one of the benefits of my Nook, it is easy to sort the books.

  4. Your shelves look amazing - they are so tidy. Mine is a bit of a jumbled ( though somewhat organised) mess. My pic and musing here: http://daystarz.wordpress.com/2012/12/03/musing-mondays-dec-3/

My Kindle is much better organised in collections mostly by Genre.

    Thanks for sharing the pics.

  5. Do you favor the Kindle or Nook? I am curious as to why you have both. I am contemplating an eReader for xmas.
