  1. I've not heard of any of these but Penny Marshall's book sounds like it would be pretty funny.

  3. You have some great variety lined up for this fall, Gigi Ann! I've enjoyed several books by M.C. Beaton but haven't read any in a long time...I should revisit them. And Michael Connelly -- my husband often enjoys his books and I've liked some of them as well. Enjoy your fall reading!

  6. Very interesting list you have to read. I can't say that I have heard of any of the authors besides Carrie Fisher. I look forward to reading your reviews on the books you have chosen.

  13. Might have to look into The Meryl Streep Movie Club! I read Carrie Fisher's Wishful Drinking a year or two ago, so I'll keep my eyes peeled for a copy of Shockaholic. That lady got style... :)

I've got so many books on Mount TBR that I'm not sure I'll stick to my FIR2012 list, but for what it's worth I've got a few much-anticipated titles on there, including The Night Circus, Journey to the Centre of the Earth, and J.K. Rowling's new adult novel which should get here on Thursday! Good luck, and happy reading!

  17. I read Married by Mistake. It was ok, but not my favorite. But not bad for the price (it was free for kindle when I got it!)

I have Pies and Prejudice on my "to-read" list, so I'm looking forward to reading what you think of it!
