  1. I've not heard of any of these but Penny Marshall's book sounds like it would be pretty funny.

  2. I see you have a couple of Hollywood related books on your list - I'll be interested to see what you think.

  3. You have some great variety lined up for this fall, Gigi Ann! I've enjoyed several books by M.C. Beaton but haven't read any in a long time...I should revisit them. And Michael Connelly -- my husband often enjoys his books and I've liked some of them as well. Enjoy your fall reading!

  4. Hi there,
I'm taking part in the challenge too, and am following you on GFC so I can see your progress. Good luck! =)

  5. I have There Goes the Bride on my desk. I didn't add it to my list. If I finish my list I may get to it. Good luck!

  6. Very interesting list you have to read. I can't say that I have heard of any of the authors besides Carrie Fisher. I look forward to reading your reviews on the books you have chosen.
    Thanks for visiting my blog.

  7. Nice list. I need to check out some of these titles. Enjoy your fall reading.

  8. I like that you're starting out with these, then will add more later. That's a smart idea; I should have done that. ha.

  9. Good luck with your list! The Carrie Fisher and Penny Marshall books sound good.

  10. I think I have Married By Mistake on my Kindle! The Penny Marshall book looks interesting to me.

  11. I saw Carrie Fischer on a show talking about that book and sounded very interesting. Happy reading this fall!

  12. I've been curious about The Meryl Streep Movie Club. Sounds really good. Happy reading this fall!

  13. Might have to look into The Meryl Streep Movie Club! I read Carrie Fisher's Wishful Drinking a year or two ago, so I'll keep my eyes peeled for a copy of Shockaholic. That lady got style... :)

I've got so many books on Mount TBR that I'm not sure I'll stick to my FIR2012 list, but for what it's worth I've got a few much-anticipated titles on there, including The Night Circus, Journey to the Centre of the Earth, and J.K. Rowling's new adult novel which should get here on Thursday! Good luck, and happy reading!

  14. Really fun list! I've been wanting to read Dick Van Dyke's book, hope you enjoy it!

  15. Ooh, Better than Chocolate. I have no idea what the book is about but I'm not sure anything is better than chocolate! ;)

Happy reading! Looks like a great list and you've already made good progress on it.

  16. Good luck with the challenge. Meryl Sreep Movie Club is one I've been hearing about for a while, I hope it's a good read.

  17. I read Married by Mistake. It was ok, but not my favorite. But not bad for the price (it was free for kindle when I got it!)

I have Pies and Prejudice on my "to-read" list, so I'm looking forward to reading what you think of it!

  18. Pies and Prejudice sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out. Happy reading!
