"What's On Your Nightstand?"

I ran across this meme at 5 Minutes For Books, and since there are always books on my nightstand waiting to be read I thought I would play along. I just read four books last week for the fun "High Summer Read-a-Thon." They are listed below in the Read-a-Thon wrap-up.

Today I am reading "Riversong" on my Kindle, by Tess Hardwick. I hope to get close to finishing it this evening.
The other books on my nightstand are two by Debbie Macomber, which I hope to read this week. They are....
these two books in the "Cedar Cove" Series. I read four of the books in the series last week, and hopefully I will be able to read these next two. They are...

"8 Sandpiper Way" and
"92 Pacific Boulevard."

I am expecting a visit from my daughter and family this week, they will be spending all day Friday with me. We are planning a visit to Barnes and Nobles Friday morning, and lunch afterward, then home and she is going to try to teach me what some of the nifty things my Nook does, other than download books. I will miss them when they leave early Saturday morning, but, they have been on a 10 day vacation and need to get home. All good things must come to an end, someone once said.

What is on your nightstand waiting to be read this week?

  2. Welcome to the Nightstand group! I hope to see you again next month. :)

Debbie Macomber has some of the prettiest book covers. I'm not sure I've ever read her books, but I do admire the covers.

Have a great visit with your family!

  3. Happy reading! And have fun with your daughter and your family.

I went to Barnes and Nobles yesterday with hubby and the kids, my daughter needed to grab the second installment of the Hunger Games. She's good and hooked.

  4. Family bookshop trips are nice.

I still have to find out a few things that my e-reader can do, like playing music while reading.

  5. Wonderful post, Gigi Ann! I took a look on my nightstand, and, to my surprise, found only one book on it, Don'ts for Wives. Many other books are nearby, though. Enjoy your visit and trip to Barnes & Noble!

  6. Welcome to the Nightstand! I hope you'll be back :)

And aren't family bookstore trips the best? I'm blessed with kids who share my passion for books too.

  7. Glad you've joined in this month! I love this monthly meme. I always find new suggestions for what to read next (far more than I can ever handle actually!).

Enjoy your daughter's visit and learning more about your Nook. I know there is still much I need to learn about my Kindle. So much to know; so little time.
