"Booking Through Thursday"

All things being equal, which would you prefer–a mystery? Or a love story?

I really like both, but what I like best is a mystery with a bit of light romance throughout the story.  That's it for my answer, how about you which do you prefer?

  1. That's how I feel, too; I also read a lot of books that are just dark....and not necessarily mysteries. lol

  2. Mystery hands down. I don't think many authors pull off romance mysteries really well but I do enjoy them when they do.

I have to be in the mood for romance, I like it to be intense though, not light and fluffy.

  6. Hi Ann,

I have very eclectic tastes in my reading genres and am willing to give most books a try.

However, if I had to make a firm choice, I would probably have to go 'mystery', which will always have the slight edge on the 'romance' novel.

'Sitting on the fence' is not a fair option! LOL

  8. A nice mix of the two is good. I enjoy romances more I think.
