"Musing Mondays"

This week’s musing hosted by MizB  asks…
Do you prefer character-driven stories, or plot-driven stories?
For me I love a good plot-driven story, the characters are secondary to a good plot-driven story. If the story is interesting the characters will fall right in line with the story plot. Really when you think about a good book you have read, (Example: Gone With The Wind) the plot and the characters have to go hand-in-hand to make for a good story.  So I guess I don't know which I prefer, because a good story needs both.

  2. Totally agree! I thought I was being greedy saying both but I'm glad I found someone who prefers both the characters and the plot to go hand in hand!

  6. I would have to say plot driven because if I'm interested in the story, I can overlook poorly developed characters but if I like the characters but the story line doesn't interest me, forget it.
