"Booking Through Thursday"

btt button
What’s the last book you were really EXCITED to read?
And, were you excited about it in advance? Or did the excitement bloom while you were reading it?
Are there any books you’re excited about right NOW?
The last book I was looking forward to reading was "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett.  I noticed that most of the book bloggers who had read it seemed to love the book.  There is also a movie being released soon based on the book, and since I like to read a book before viewing the movie,  I will have to say I was a bit excited about reading the book in advance.

When I look at my TBR pile there are so many I am looking forward to reading,  isn't that one of the reasons why our TBR pile keeps growing? However, the one I am excited to read right NOW is "The Midwife's Confession" by Diane Chamberlain, and again it is because of all the nice reviews I've been reading about it on other book bloggers blogs.

How about you, are there any books you are looking forward to reading?

  2. Oh I can't wait for you to read "The Midwife's Confession" I thought that one was so good. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. We will have to compare notes on it. When do you plan on reading it?

  3. I'm mostly curious when I start out, and gets excited if the book is good. However, there are exceptions to this rule.

  4. The last one for me was The Surgeon by Tess Gerritsen, I had never read her and many of my blogging friends said I had to and I agree, it was edge thriller.

I most looking forward to Michelle Zink's last book in the trilogy now.

  10. Your blog review on "The Help" certainly has me interested in reading it!

The last books I was dying to read where the Amanda Hocking Trylle Trilogy. I thought the romantic elements were screwy. But I liked the story as a whole. It had more to it than a lot of them.
