What is the last book you struggled to read through to the end, even though you weren’t really enjoying it? What made you keep reading?
The last book that I really struggled through to get read was "The Painted House" by John Grisham. It was, to me, the most boring book I have ever read, followed closely by his book "Playing For Pizza." Why did I keep reading? With "The Painted House" I really didn't keep reading, I set it aside for about six months and then decided to finish reading it, I thought maybe it was just the mood I had been in the first time around... Nope, it wasn't the mood, it was the book. I gave it to my daughter-in-law to read and when she gave it back, she asked me, "Did you think this book was boring? Because I did." So I rest my case.
