"Aloha Friday" "Cover Art" "Follow Me Fridays" Memes

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.
Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!.......... So my question is . . .
What is your favorite Summertime footwear?

A. My favorite Summertime footwear is FLIP-FLOPS. I have them in different colors, and some with heels, I am hardly ever seen in anything but, FLIP-FLOPS, or sandals all Summer long.

This is a meme, hosted by Yvonne at Socrates' Book Review Blog to display all those beautiful, funny, crazy and even those that make you think book covers you come across each week. For the rules visit Yvonne's blog

Yesterday I picked this book up at the Old Men's Store (Menards) while my hubby was shopping there. Yes Surprisingly they do have some books on display there. I went to the car to wait until hubby was finished his shopping and started to read it, I couldn't put it down. I laid aside my current read, and am finding this book a very enjoyable Summer book to read. I will be curled up in my La Z Boy recliner this week-end reading it, along with some other things I will be doing this week-end. I finished this book today, and I loved it.

Welcome to the 20 th weekly Follow Friday Four Fill-in Fun Blog Hop

Each week, I plan on listing four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me at feelingbeachie(at)gmail(dot)com. If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! CO-HOSTS ARE NEEDED!!!!

This week’s co-host Jen from What Would Jen Do she came up with the last two statements

This week’s statements:
1. I probably read way more than I should.

2. I just tried reading a book by David Baldacci for the first time, and I am lovin' it.

3. If I had to have a large flower bouquet with only one type of flower in it, it would be made of Baby Pink Roses,

4. I crocheted a Snuggie for my Great-Granddaughter in 2009.

  6. Cute picture!

I wear flip flops until it snows. I hate shoes!

I am glad you mentioned The Baldacci book. I have been thinking about it myself. I'm glad to hear you are really enjoying it. Don't you love that you can buy a gallon of milk and a book to read while buying hardware and home supplies? It cracks me up every time I go in Menards!

  8. Flip flops are a must in all weather! And is there really such a thing as reading too much? If so, then I'm sure I'm guilty. Btw, that snuggie is adorable! I'm not a snuggie fan but, I'd definitely want one of those! And thanks for stopping by my blog.

  9. I don't think you can ever read too much and that snuggy is too adorable! The baby is just smoochable! Love it.

I pretty much wear anything I can grab for my feet that is comfy but also let my feet get air.

    Aloha!

  11. Definitely flip-flops, especially when it's really hot like it's been. :)

That does look like a good book - Menard's sure is an interesting store, isn't it? We don't have one here, so every time we visit my sister in Iowa, she always takes us there just for fun. ;0

  14. Wow, those are so cute! I usually do not wear flip flops (we call them slippers). It's always a casual wedge sandal.
