"Musing Mondays"

This week’s musing hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading asks…
What’s at the top of your must-buy list, right now? (or, if you don’t wait — if you’re more impulsive — what books have you recently purchased?)
After thinking about this question I realize I am a list person, Oh Yes, I do keep a list of books I want to purchase, otherwise, I get in the bookstore and can't remember one book I wanted to purchase, let alone three or four.

This past week I purchased three books that were on my 'must-buy' list. They were:
Night Road, by Kristin Hannah,
Almost Home, by Mariah Stewart, and
Texas Blue, by Jodi Thomas. I also purchased at the same time, Deadly Notions, by Elizabeth Lynn Casey.

The books I am waiting to purchase when they come out in paperback are:
Naked Heat, by Richard Castle, and
Emily and Einstein, by Linda Francis Lee.

On my waiting list for this fall is Jodi Thomas's book 3 in her Harmony series, and
Debbie Macomber's book 1105 Yakima Street.

I like meandering through bookstores and looking at all the covers of books, sometimes I just buy a book because I love the cover, how about you, what have you purchased recently?

  1. Emily and Einstein is one I've been interested in, too. I'll probably try to find it at the library before actually buying a copy, though.

I'm a huge fan of list-making. I even make lists of the lists I need to make!

Can't wait to see what you think of Night Road...I hope I don't miss your review while on vacation because laptop won't be taking the trip.

  6. Yes, I'm waiting for the next Harmony book too! Really like that series...I know Jodi Thomas just published a new historical too, so I may grab that in the meantime.
