"R" Is For Reading" ABC Wednesdays

"R" Is For Reading"

This is me, Gigi Ann, setting in My Reading Corner, with Miss Molly, Reading Kat Mortensen's book of Poetry. How could I use anything else for "R" day, since...
Reading is one of my favorite things to do. Also, I created this blog, "My Reading Corner" because of my love of Reading.

Reading can be Risque and fun
or Raffishly boring.
It can also be Really educational
Recreational, even Refreshing.
Reading may Regale us with it's stories.
Reading is whatever we decide to make it.
Reading can Redeploy us back in time
or into the future.
Reading is a wonderful way to
Reach the little corners of our minds
and make inroads into our ever
expanding trek down the Road to Knowledge.

Happy Reading Everyone!

  1. One of my favourite R words, and one of my favourite things to do sitting in a comfy chair with a cat on my knee. Great pic!

  2. Definitely one of my favorite R words, too! Love to snuggle down in my favorite chair with a good book. My lap is usually filled with my Miniature Schnauzer, but that's the only difference!! Hope you have a great week!

  5. Your reading position reminds me of mine - Little Red is always in my lap and he doesn't mind the weight of the book usually! Right now I'm reading a book about a fine art forgery scam, Provenance, and, for a lighter mood, The Christmas Train by Baldocci (sp?).

  6. I think I covered a lot of R's over this last week. I've been doing research on several European queens from the 1400's. I'm trying to give some real flavoring to my fantasy saga as to what it was really like to be a princess and a queen. I think the peasants had a better chance for happiness, actually.

  20. I love reading and all it brings with it: knowledge about other people, a laugh or a smile on a day you didn't feel like laughing or smiling, the chance to see witches and fairies and talking animals, but most of all: the want to meet people and see places.

    Great R!
