"Fall Into Reading 2010"

Our hostess, Katrina, from Callapidderdays asks this week’s reading question:
Where do you get the books you read? Are you a faithful library patron? Or maybe a bookstore junkie? Do you exchange books with friends or family members?

I get most of the books I read at Barnes and Noble, Half-Priced Bookstore, Wal-mart, or Sam's Club. I get books about anywhere books are sold.

I love my Library, but am not a faithful library patron. I find the books I request they never seem to have. They don't get new books until after 6 months of the date they are published. Or you have to get on the waiting list, and that means I never get called. I have been on the waiting list for a book for many months now, and doubt they will ever call me and say it's my turn to check out the book.  However, I will take my current read and go to the Library and set in my little nook and read for an hour or two. Like I said, I love my Library.  I do sometimes find books I wanted to read, but didn't want to buy, and that is always a pleasure.

I am a bookstore junkie, I buy my own books, therefore, I can keep building on my own little library in "My Little Reading Corner".

I loan out some of my books to friends, but very seldom exchange books with friends or family.

How about you, where to you find your books you read?

  1. I too will admit that I am a book junkie...if there is a book somewhere I can sniff it out no matter what type of establishment.

  2. My library has a long waiting list so I don't get a lot of books from mine either but I do use their audio download service. I'm with you - I like to own my books!

  3. I'm a bookstore junkie too. Plus I get many of my books online for review from the publishers or authors.
