"SkyWatch Friday, October 22, 2010"

2These photographs were taken by my friend Shelly, she lives near Charlestown, West Virginia. This is what Shelly had to say.

Shelly:  "Thursday (October 14, 2010) about 6:00 pm. As I pulled in the driveway from work it started this heavy misting rain, with the sun out. By the time I got out of my car the first rainbow was starting to appear! Then the second, and then the first got sooo bright! I have seen rainbows before, but never one like this!"

Thank you, Shelly for giving me permission to post these lovely pictures on SkyWatch Friday this week.

  9. Two rainbows - what a bonus! And the autumn trees under the archway set the whole shot off beautifully.
