WWW..Wednesdays. 7/7/2010

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
* What are you currently reading?
* What did you recently finish reading?
* What do you think you’ll read next?

I am currently reading Grace Under Pressure, by Julie Hyzy.  This will be the first time I have read anything by this author. I think this is to be a cozy little mystery. I guess I will find out as I get further into the book.

I just finished reading Beachcombers, by Nancy Thayer. It was a fun summer read. One of those books you kind of hate when it ends.

I am leaning toward The Three Weissmanns of Westport, by Cathleen Schine as my next choice to read. I have a few other books waiting to be read, but, being a Jane Austen fan, I understand this novel is a playful, devoted, loose-jointed homage to Jane Austen's beloved Sense and Sensibility. So I am looking forward to reading it in a few weeks.

  5. Beachcombers sounds nice. :)

Btw, I used to do something silly years ago when I don't want a story to end; I paused my reading and move on to other books. Good thing was, I didn't forget the storyline...else I'll have to reread from the begining. LOL! Now there are soooo many books in my to-be-read pile. No time to pause!

  6. I got excited when I saw Westport in the title because I live near a place with the same name, but it's not the same Westport as in the book. =(

    Happy reading!

  7. Hi,
I am currently reading an Agatha Christie novel "The Secret Adversary" with Tommy and Tuppence.
I finally finished "Eiffel's Tower..." which I cannot recommend.
Next will be another 'Familiar' mystery starring Familiar the cat.
I'm always looking for something to read!
