It was a lovely day today, this is what the sky looked like almost all day today, it was 65 or higher. No Rain, that was a pleasant change. We have had more rainy days this May then any May since we moved here 12 years ago.
I was busy all day today. It was laundry day, and then I felt so good today, I haven't felt this good since I can't even remember when. I decided to try a recipe I cut out of the paper last week, called Rhubarb Dessert. It was very good and the best part it was easy to make. The hardest part was picking the Rhubarb and cutting it up into small pieces. Below is a picture of what is left of it after Tony, Gwen, and I ate a bit of it. That is a 9" by 13" cake pan. So we didn't eat quite half of it.
Since Friday night is not a night I find anything interesting on TV, I will be reading my book.

What did you do today?
I got up at 4:50 or should I say I got out of bed I was awake since 4:30 I heard the neighbor going to work, I have looked so much at the clock when he goes by I knew it was 4:30 ;)
ReplyDeleteMade tea, curled my hair, put on my make up while eating shredded wheat for breakfast.. Left at 5:50 to go on my first bus run... I was done with all that at 8:30.
Today is payday so I went to the bank and deposited my check, came home to Kristina complaining that I don't have the write things for her to print out flyers (for her friend who died) because she was out of ink...My ink doesn't cost anything I'm glad she couldn't do it :) <evil grin
My cleaning lady was here it was total chaos I was nuts...It doesn't take much..All of that going on while trying to curl Marlene Beachy's hair. By then it is 10:00 am. I got a phone call, A lady who had a friend who came here to get her hair done recommended me would I cut her hair.. (Why sure come now while it is totally confusing..) she gets here at 10:30 when my next appt. is to be here she wasn't so I started cutting her hair.
In pops Vonn Where did he come from??? I didn't know he came here with Kristina he was up at the barn doing who knows what.. He was done so him and Kristina leave thank heavens. My stress level drops considerably. I finish the hair cut and the next appt comes in at 11:00 finally that worked out nicely. She got a shampoo and cut she styles and leaves.. The maid is done I pay her- make my next cleaning day appt. she leaves.
I have a few moments so I post some things and read our blogs.. My next appt comes I do her hair, eat my lunch, call Kristina ask her if she wants to walk she says yes we walk for an hour and a half, I have to leave to go get the kids it is 2 o'clock.
Finish at 4:10, Take Mercedez to Katie's. Vern and I go out and eat at Casselman Inn. Came home I took a bath and here I am.. Did I bore you? You will never ask me what I did again.. Will you???

That was fun. Who is your cleaning lady? Why would her being there cleaning, cause chaos? I guess you had to be there to appreciate the chaos...
