Where do you keep any books borrowed from friends or the library? Do they live with your own collection or do you keep them separate?
I seldom borrow books from my friends. However, I do occasionally check out library books, now and again. They never go on my bookshelves. I keep them on my nightstand until I've read them. I also make a note in my organizer on the day they are due back at the library, so as not to forget to return them. I hate having an overdue book on my nightstand. Therefore, if I haven't read it in the three weeks, I call the library and renew it for another three weeks.
